On Tuesday, November 14, our very own North Bay Hindu Center committee member, Sidharth Kaw, will be speaking on a panel at an event hosted by the Marin Interfaith Council and taking place at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon
(REGISTRATION CLOSED - EVENT SUMMARY TO BE SHARED AT A LATER DATE)
5:30 - 8 PM (panel discussion will begin around 6:45 PM)
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon
Sidharth also serves as Board Treasurer for the Marin Interfaith Council (MIC) while also representing NBHC and Sanatana Dharma in general through his work.
The topic of Living Interfaith will focus on the reality that more and more people are walking between faith traditions. Many identify with no particular tradition, with more than one tradition, or are in a family where multiple faith traditions are represented. How does someone live interfaith in their personal life?
Our speakers this year are:
Sidharth Kaw, who practices Hinduism and whose wife is Roman Catholic, and together they are raising three children in both traditions.
Sister Pat Farrell, a Dominican Sister of San Rafael, who practices Zen Buddhism.
Rev. Paul Mowry, a Presbyterian Pastor who with his Jewish husband is raising their daughter in the Jewish faith.
We hope to see you at this event. For further information click here (please note that registration is now closed): https://www.marinifc.org/emerging-visionaries-2023-living-interfaith
